Roots 4 Schools

Wouldn’t it be amazing to add more arts-based activities to your timetable? Would you love to have arts activities confidently delivered by your whole team which support the development of the whole child?

Beccy Hurrell Voice Arts 3

The BHVA Arts 4 All Roots Programme has been designed to support your school to do just that and we are working with local schools to develop an integrated Arts curriculum that helps breakdown barriers to learning.

Our team at BHVA, Lindsey and Beccy, have over 40 years Arts Education experience between them within the private and education sector. We are passionate that engagement in quality arts provision at an early age can help children develop resilience, problem solving, creativity, confidence and much more – and we are on a mission to combine the arts into the curriculum.

There are two options available for schools

Option 1 – Bespoke schemes of work

We will work with your school to create a bespoke scheme which will include a resource bank of lessons, using dance music and drama, to help students understand key concepts in the subjects and topics that you request. These schemes of work and resources will enable students to physically experience and apply knowledge in your selected subject and topic, to allow a greater depth of understanding.

To talk more with us about working to develop a bespoke scheme for your school please contact Lindsey Atkins (Arts4All Manager) by email or by filling out the form below.

    Option 2 – Resource Bank

Here at BHVA we are currently developing a resource bank of lessons using Dance, Music and Drama to help students understand key concepts in English, Maths and Science, allowing students to physically experience and apply knowledge to allow a greater depth of understanding.

We are also creating a second scheme using Dance, Drama and Music to support Social, Emotional, Physical and Cognitive development either as part of the new PSHE Curriculum or for use within smaller groups settings linked to Inclusion and SEND support.
